undisputed 1,664
just make's me deppresed [bANNED TEXT] theirs good lads out their breeding good tried and tested dogs and struggling to sell them and so called dog men would sooner go and buy one of a puppy peddlar Well as expected it didn't take to long for the experts to have their say and start blowing hot air out their arses! for a start who breeds tried and tested dogs then sells them? If your referring to worker to worker well again thats a matter of opinion....for example how many so called "good lads" when breeding say a half bull x or deerhound x use tried and tested dogs for their baseline not many. As far as I'm aware most will use any bull or deerhound regardless of background. Again how many greyhounds are worked before being bred from and I'm not referring to running? And yes I would rather buy a dog from a so called "puppy pedlar" before I got one from someone who's trying to punt one from the back of a shed to make a few quid for himself. As someone pointed out at least you know whats in the dog you buy. Keep taking those pills for your depression. so his stud dogs are tried and tested working dogs then not his collies his lurchers As far as I'm aware none of his stud dogs are worked but I couldn't say for sure dont know the man Quote Link to post

courtney32 1
im confused phoned mr hancock the other day he doesnt work any of his dogs they are too valuable apparentley.I dont want to be funny but why breed of dogs that dont work does he just rely on hearing how the pups turn out from the owners?I know mr hancock has been involved with lurchers for a long time but if he was alurher man how come he doesnt work any dogs??this is not an attack on mr hancock just a question puppy pedlar comes to mind Quote Link to post
courtney32 1
thanks everyone for their answers.it seems to me dog breding of any sort throws up some good uns and some bad.but if you are genuinley puttin the best to the best for their workin ability and not profit you cant be faulted. Hancock breeds line bred lurchers with a pedigree you know what's in them, what you do with them once they are yours is your problem there is no such thing as a duff dog, there are sadly legions of toss pots who buy dogs then ruin them. I'd buy a Hancock hoond tomorrow because all the people I know who have have no complaints what ever about them. my mate had a merle hancock it was a fecking beast of a dog,30in tts and i personally wouldnt of fed it,he tried it on numerous charlies and it jacked everytime it was a lumbering bag o shite,it did kill his whippet tho So he was running it on a wild dog and it killed a tame one, my mates BeddieXGrww did that to a doberman one night, easy mistake to make, thought it was a Roe! bull sh5t Quote Link to post
tod 3
why do alot of people who have hancock dogs seem to want to defend hancock and argue his case ?????? when people have a go at hancock they seem to take it as a personal insult to them and there dogs which isnt usally the case. if there was a man the same as hancock who bred bull xs these same people would be slateing him. the man is a puppy farmer and only in it for the £££££££.if you really want a hancock dog buy it of someone who works them and not of hancock himself Quote Link to post
MikeTheDog 153
why do alot of people who have hancock dogs seem to want to defend hancock and argue his case ?????? They are defending there choice! Good or bad their dogs mean the world to them, to knock a mans dog is to knock them, it aint rocket science! Quote Link to post
