NO 1 HUNTER 1
he relies on other people telling him what they are taking e.g [fox, deer, hairs]so when you buy a pup he will tell you what that litter will take and so on.but for £250 a pup i would buy 1 from working stock so you no what ya getting his pups are £200 mate not £250 mine is coming on alright for being 11 weeks old he is very bright dog and has learnt the basics with no problems Quote Link to post
jimmyg 6
The man is a puppy peddler plain a simple, made a good living over the years breeding out of untried dogs for financial gain end of story. Quote Link to post

adrianvygus 0
thanks everyone for their answers.it seems to me dog breding of any sort throws up some good uns and some bad.but if you are genuinley puttin the best to the best for their workin ability and not profit you cant be faulted. Hancock breeds line bred lurchers with a pedigree you know what's in them, what you do with them once they are yours is your problem there is no such thing as a duff dog, there are sadly legions of toss pots who buy dogs then ruin them. I'd buy a Hancock hoond tomorrow because all the people I know who have have no complaints what ever about them. Quote Link to post

aj1980 5
MR HANCOCK WROTE A PIECE IN THE COUNTRYMANS ON 1ST APRIL.. SAYING THAT THERE ARE TOO MANY LURCHERS BEING BRED. I AGREE HE IS BREEDING FAR TOO MANY CACK ONES. I SAY LET US WORKING MEN WHO WORK SO HARD TO TRAIN THE DOGS REEP SOME BENIFIT BY BREEDING OUR DOGS SOMETIMES.. I HAVE HAD 3 HANCOCK LURCHERS, 1 TURNED INTO A HORSE AT 29TTS THE OTHER TWO WELL IT'S NOT WORTH WRITTING ABOUT. WORKER TO WORKER BREEDING EVERY TIME FOR ME. PHIL HEYNES HAS GOT A GOOD LINE OF DOGS just read that 1 mate thought cheeky b*****d breeding non working dogs then say too many lurchers being bred but in saying that my mate has 1 and it dose what he wants Quote Link to post
