AKA-BRINDLE 879
the op for cruciate ligaments in the knee is slightly differnt no rod to fuse the bone just a screw in the thema and a hole drilled in the tibia (spelling) the line used i was told was 80lb breaking strain fishing line but as you say in a figure 8 held in place with metal crimps...can i ask Molly how long after the op did she break the line? AKA-BRINDLE 879
the ends of the wire should be joined together with metal crimps but these are the weak point as is the screw in the bone...the first 6 weeks are the dodgy period after then you can start building up the dog with short lead walks and hydro therapy...after 3 months im told you should almost be out of the woods... zap 4
well folks its worse than first thought they are going to knock her out tomorrow and double check when she is relaxed but they reckon she done tendons ligaments and chipped the bone in her leg dont know the name of the bone the one that comes from the knee up wards is it the tibia ?]but they going to exam her properly tomorrow he said if all is wrong what they think to be honest she wont run and arthritis will have set in in no time ,so i think tonight could be her last night anyone who knows me knows i thought alot of this bitch never once let me done but it would be torture for her to be left when out lamping and even out every night and morning walking if rabbits jumped up the frustration would do her in time to rule with my head instead of my heart i think
