alimac 882
ok fair enough not quite sure how it would be best done.. i see what your getting at with big commercial shoots but there numbers are normally at a decent level come feb, these also get supplimentary food stuffs so dont have that much effect on other species if levels are too high, apart from attracting stuff further up the food chain us mear mortals and our opinions are not going to be heard over orgs like the rspb..... who knows time will tellIt amazes me how the rspb cant even acknowledge the fact that sum species of birds are in rapid decline due to over predation from raptors its a shame these things come to that and i guess we are to blame somwhere down the line your right enough we probably were to blame somewhere along the line, cant see any change in my life time i just hope they eventually see sense Quote Link to post
adonnachie 2
Everyone join the RSPB...........then vote for a monitored and site specific limited cull for raptors..........cut the numbers where they are a problem,....leave the rest, ...........job done. Quote Link to post
lurchers 2,865
dont get me wrong i fly bop and have lurchers and terriers all work for a living as i work for pest control but why dont the government give you a licence like ive heard over america to take one out the nest to hunt with thenyou wouldnt have so many in the wild and people charging a fortune for these they are breeding.i think that would solve alot of hassle Quote Link to post
harrishawk01 0
I've just been sitting looking out in the garden watching and watched 3 crows come down and raid nests in the garden next door. I understand BOP do some damage but I am sure its not just them. As said before BOP like buzzards are lazy and dont want to chase they would prefer to drop on to a carcase laid somewhere. If you see a buzzard on some thing then I would put money on the fact it was already dead. Quote Link to post
