Just got to my dads house and have put two fox snares up, the one in the picture is the one i will catch it in, found fresh fox scat on the track and with the two trees on each side of the track im with a good chance of catching him,

Is that a bit white tape on the snare mate?

 

 

Looks like hes trying to support the snare to the tealer mate.

I think thats what it is myself mate but 'white tape'? I would imagine that fox will be wandering along tonight and say "HELLO AGAIN" :bye: snare thanks for the warning that something just isn't right

he should get some camo tape

used black or green electric tape for years, dont think it affects things... id think it will catch no probs

I use black as well mate but not white...........jesus!! Fox will see that a mile off. Not saying it will never catch but they are not stupid and any little thing that looks diff' to them then they are very cautious. Still wish you good luck bud. ;)
