spanj 11
I was walking the dogs the other day, and someone stopped me and my new neighbours and started shouting at me as I am walking a whippet which has cropped ears which is animal abuse and illegal, I then said no these ears are natural for him, he has GSD in him, thats why he is as big as he is (he is just a little bit bigger then the average GSD) at this they turned round and said that they use to breed whippits and that he is one, the reason that he is so big is the steriods that I pumping into him, aswell as my other dog Honey apparently I could not believe that I was being shouted at for my Lurcher having pointing up ears, I have only seen one dog with cropped ears, and even I knew that there was a visable difference between a dog with cropped ears and normal ones that stick up. And to make it worse Diesel is protective of me and at this point the person was throwing their arms around and really shouting at me, so Diesel started growling that made things even worse, luckily my new neighbour got involved and after a while the person left saying that they were going to call the RSPCA on me when they get home, which I have no problems with, apart from it being a waste of everyones time!! For those who don't know what Diesel looks like, here is a pic of him. The worse thing is that I couldn't get into a full blown argument with him as the dog is protective, and has attacked a burgular before, if it happened again and in public I don't know what would be done to Diesel. He'd have to have had ears like dumbo for them to look like that after being cropped !!!

inan 841
That's worse than the woman who told me that I shouldn't be ferreting in February because the ferrets would eat the pheasant eggs that pheasants lay down rabbit holes!!!!! Obviously got pheasants mixed up with partridges a common mistake.
inan 841
If i had a quid for everytime some do-gooder tells me my fit and healthy lurcher is underfed..................... Yes I used to bike my saluki cross around the streets ,got reported for having a halfstarved greyhound,an RSPCA Officer called ,a young kid about 20 she was ,asked to see my dog ,I showed him to her ,she said Ive never seen such a fit animal. Funnily enough the woman who reported me MRs X,[they never have the guts to give their name] has a fat ex track greyhound looks like a labrador, never gets a run, never off the lead, leads a miserable existence, 15 lbs overweight. You cant talk to bigots.
