Yokel Matt 918
It's here at last, I seem to have only ever shot does & hinds and have decided that this is the year for me. I'm not a trophy hunter by any stretch but fancy being able to fill the freezer and put something on the wall as well. There was a strong Roe Buck on my small patch at the end of the last season but he disapeared after some dogs were run there late summer... keeping my fingers crossed that he just avoided the area. Has anyone ear-marked any good bucks with strong heads for this year? Edited April 1, 2009 by Local Quote Link to post

Yokel Matt 918
That is really unusual head and looks like a strong animal in all other respects. Old Fritz would pay a fortune to hang that on the wall as they seem to have a thing about malform roe. Quite rightly a cull animal though as he's going to have someone eyes out... you'd better get out there and do the decent thing Martin Sako - never a truer word spoken Quote Link to post
