quicksilver 0
off subject but a long the same lines. i spoke to one of the exhibitors (jackson rifles) at the shooting show in newark recently about moderators and cleaning them, she was saying that it is best not to store the rifle with the mod still attached as the residue that has condensed inside the moderator will run down into the barrel and breech etc and can be very corrosive. i am not saying that this has been your problem but it may be worth bearing in mind. Any other thoughts on this keith Quote Link to post

Mr_Logic 5
T8s do rust, mine's got some in and I only got it in December last year. Keep adding WD40 spray, that's the manufacturer guidelines as published, and as said already, contact Jackson Rifles when it corrodes for a replacement. Quote Link to post
martin 332
I leave mine on top of the boler overnight when I have been out, and,it definitely helps,a mate of mine keeps his in the airing cupboard all of the time.I don't use WD40 in it any more either cos it was throwing the first couple of shots off....................'M' Quote Link to post
