dirtwinger 235
My old deerhound/greyhound retrieved a catfish once! I taught him to hunt bullfrogs, he would wade down the ditch behind my house and when he felt a frog against his legs he would grab it. One day he git a 2lb catfish doing this, he was a fun dog and I miss him. all the best Dirtwinger Quote Link to post

Moorman 1 1,372
Was out lamping many moons ago my young Deerhound Greyhound bitch ran a rabbit into a hedge I heard something rustle and didn't think anything of it.Turned the lamp out and waited for her to return.I heard a rustling noise getting closer and closer,so turned the lamp on.I was amazed to see this bitch retrieving a fertiliser bag on tiptoes and holding it by the top corner. When the bitch brought it to me I opened the sack and to my surprise the rabbit was squatting in the corner.
