Leverets at work

Working on a site at the moment and chanced to step outside the hording that is supposed to keep us hairy assed builders in .Found these leverets in a group which is very unusual as they are usually scattered about ,the hares infant defence system .I would put them at a week old ,no more .No sign of mother but then again ,wouldnt expect it .I believe they are only fed at night and are one of the fastest growing mammals in our land .The milk is said to be very concentrated?

I cannot tell you how desperate i am to get that close to leverets!! Despite decades of rooting about in the countryside i have only ever seen truely small leverets on two occasions!!!

 

 

Best thing you can do mate, is get a lottery ticket bought because with your luck your bound to get them 6 numbers rolling in!!!!

are you being serious trurtle head, ive always thought of them as fairly easy to find, picked 2 up last year whiles putting a rearing feild up with a keeper.... is that nose meaning you cant see little objets.

They were probably just mixxy rabbits wink! Saw a young Leveret this evening, but never seen three together before!
