INFO' NEEDED PLEASE

Recommended Posts

I am in the process of buying my grandads house which is a cracking little place with 17 acres of land and a dream come true for me. The house is surrounded by roughly 1000 acres of forestry woods. Now i know a number of years ago the forestry sold the land to someone but how do i find out who?????? Would love to ask the owner[hopefully a shooting man/woman] if i could shoot pigeons in the wood as there are some good numbers just out of my boundaries. Cheers to anyone who can help.

Usually there will be a sign on or near one of the access gates telling you who the forest is managed by, all the forests round here have them anyway as they are owned by about 4 different companies and theres always harvesting or planting work going on. Good luck with the new home sounds ideal

Cheers bud...... The woods were not getting managed well and there is alot of it blown down so i think thats why they dcided to sell up? I know its an English guy who is never there and we reckon he bought it because there were rumours of a wind farm going up and he might have jumped in for a compensation claim.
