JordKil 0
How do you attach a rabbit skin to a dummy? Iv tried using a sort of twine just wrapping a round and round but it falls off. What would be the best?? Cheers Jordan
willow1 0
My purchased rabbit skin is held on the dummy with a couple of elestic bands...
skycat 6,174
Sow it on! Get a really big needle and some horse mane plaiting thread and some Elastoplast for your fingers which will get sore LOL Actually a pair of pliers will make the job easier: use them to push and pull the needle and thread through the skin and canvas. Sow the skin on to the canvas dummy at each end so it does'nt slide out and sow up the two edges of the skin where they join: job done!
mccroryart 0
I just nailed mine to a piece of wood Eamonn
Hannah4181 260
I used hair bands!!
JohnHod 0
I tend to sew mine on with fishing line. I don't normally stitch them to the dummy, preferring to be able to remove them if needed. If you're not planning on taking them off why not glue them on?
Sako.243 1
I did one just the other day, Got a ball of string and tied a nail on one end and stitched it on. Works wonders.
JordKil 0
Nice one folks. I'll try the sewing idea. My dog just pulled it off when I mput bands on it. (he needs to learn to be more gentle i know! lol) for it to dry off at the mo. Cheers Jordan
