Guest rexdigger
The use of terriers for the control of fox predation of gamebirds is still legal under the regulations as imposed :whistling: Quote Link to post

lilvixen 26
The use of terriers for the control of fox predation of gamebirds is still legal under the regulations as imposed :whistling: I'm glad somebody has eventually pointed that out, I know people will have a go but why post things and then get congratulated for it when it isn't legal. Digging foxes for the protection of lambs is sadly and stupidly not included as an exemption in the Hunting act. On another point how do you know it was the Vixen killing the Lambs. With cubs of that age a Dog Fox could be killing the lambs and bringing them to his family. I'm sure any grouse keepers on here will back me up but if you kill the vixen and cubs you really ought to be lying out for the Dog. Lilvixen's mate Quote Link to post

SIZO 0
for f**k sake whats this site surpose to be about, the man has carried out a pure vermin control for a farmer thats loosing his livelihood only to be questioned and slagged of, weather its game birds to poor defenseless lambs it HAD to be removed, well done FD i bet the farmer was over the moon with you, fair anough its not nice to remove cubs but can anyone stand to loose £60 a time when that vixen wants a easy meal,(NO), the ones that are going on about seeing the cubs laid there, think about what those poor lambs went through, but saying that most of you havnt a clue in the first place, Quote Link to post
Guest ozzy
seeing the cubs dead dose nothing for hunting or terrier work fair enough the fox plus lambs somthings are better left in the country not on this site this is my opinion it should be removed Quote Link to post

And now i await the 'f**k the ban f**k the law' brigade, but yeh f**k the ban all the same Quote Link to post
terminater 0
At £60 each thats £180 killed and half eaten. The shephard lost 12 in all so thats £720 to a single vixen.Multiply that all over the country and thats hell of a loss which only serves to put the price of food up .Thanks for the good replies people . good one mate, show the pics so theye can see how it is in the real world Quote Link to post
undisputed 1,664
Can I be clear here What the guy done was spot on in my view it was a very powerful picture but it loses the shock value in relation to the lambs because of the cubs being in the picture. Any neutral looking at the pic will be torn between the lambs and the cubs in terms of where their sympathies lie. I just think it would have been a much better pic without the cubs in it. bluedogge 1
why should it be hidden that the cubs were killed? if you dont kill the cubs then they starve to death! is that the image we should portray to the ignorant? we as hunters/pest controllers should not be afraid to show the entire "face" of our chosen profession/pastime whatever you chose to call it.just my opinion Quote Link to post
