another night spoilt

:angry: had another nights lamping spoilt by wiring in my striker its down to cheap copper wire which for a lamp costing 70 quid isnt on ,i checked wiring before went out as usual seemed ok ,have to walk 4 miles to land where lamp but worst part was dog was in middle of run when went off which could have led to injury luckily she was ok but to say the air was blue is an understatement mumbled of course as i tried to botch it together :censored:

Went out to try my new Striker on Fri. night. Have my lamps normally straight to the battery but had an "home made" adapter to accept the cigar fitting on the Striker. Connection failed about as far away from the motor as possible.

Not the lamp but my fault. Now going again Sun. Cheers, D.

i had probs with mine the same,

i got the sparky at work to have a look at it

he got rid of the cig lighter bit and the fuze part

he crimmped new spade connectors on the cable.

and it works fine now.
