Guest AngelicAcid
lisen get your self a ferrit and get some live rabbits for him or her at about 6 to 7 months and let him chase in a nice big field to get him keen and going and let him taest blood and then go out with a friend and let him run in a pair with a older dog I will give you some more advice lad, take no notice of nonsense like this post above........this cretin has probly ruined more dogs than enough and I just dont think a dog of the cross you have will be ready for all that at 7 months........wait and then wait some more Spot on WILF, ive ran these crosses and they can take some time, take it slow. Nice and easy . Just re read the post. let them run in a pear. Youre a cabbage mate, or a plum at the very least. Edited March 28, 2009 by AngelicAcid

Guest WILF
hello again everyone i have some good news. last night my 6yr old terrier that i have retired from working cought its first rabbit for a year!! i was quite pleased and by lurcher pup is comming on well too! Nice one matey........good for you and your dog. Just my on very personal opinion, but I never mix lurcher pups and terriers when out (only on very rear occassions)......I think it can teach a lurcher pup a lack of manners I am sure lots of people will disagree with me and have had no problems........I would just keep an eye to it. An ignorant terrier I can cope with, but an ignorant lurcher is a head banger Keep up the good work in any case,
Quixote 9
Saluki cross? Best of luck, you'll need it
Guest jt750
The pounds are full of burnt out dogs or dogs that just won't work because they've been run too hard too early ..matters not how mature the dog seems it doesn't make their bone structure any stronger. Sure show them things while the're young but don't work them too hard
