Guest AngelicAcid
Has anyone ever used these lamps opposed to the Lightforce range, what did they fair up like? http://www.elyboatchandlers.co.uk/searchlight.htm Quote Link to post
Wayneb 0
Still got one of those lamps on the shelf but never really use it these days, a good lamp if not abit on the heavy side and quite bulky with a rather annoying clicking switch that needs swapping for something quieter. Nice beam on it though and the blue eye is very good in slightly misty conditions or light rain. didn't know they still made them Quote Link to post
Bosun11 537
Can't get the link up but if your taking about the BlueEye, ClearEye and BlackEye Optronics range they were the best on the market 20 years ago, good solid knock about lamps, would agree with Wayneb about the size, weight and switch but back in the day they were great. The weight came from the glass front and that all the front end is the bulb but the beam was good, though the drain was poor. They later added a little version which was ok for bunnys. Don't think they would get anywhere near newer models like Lightforce. Quote Link to post
