FENS FEVER 147 Posted March 26, 2009 Report Share Posted March 26, 2009 i thought inan post was funny more tongue in cheek , rather than having a go. i think you just intrepeted it wrong chartpolski. no harm done. i think marbricks old post about the fen thing had him holding a levret up , that his rough coated whippet grey cought Tomo, Inan must have reflected on his comment and found it not as funny as he thought; or else why would a man who always stands his ground, have edited it ? As you say, no harm done, but I thought it was an odd comment to put on a thread that was only asking about SEEING leverets, with no mention whatsoever of killing or coursing them. Only lampers kill leverets, eh, ?????? Cheers. Did I say that? For the record I lamp quite a bit,but not hares ,personal choice.Plenty of people run hares all year round , day and night. I never have[preban].I was commenting on the photos I had seen, but to stop another useless argument between lampers and daylight boys ,I will delete the word lamping from my post.Happy now? if you mean me you want to open your eyes up cus this is a rabbit in the winter Quote Link to post
Guest darlolad Posted March 27, 2009 Report Share Posted March 27, 2009 my mates were out with dogs cuome back they said dave all the lirets are over our way a said shut up went over and to my suprise ther was 7 full grown hares in group probly pareing up then the next field we saw bout 2-3 lirets and they popped up allover threw out the day this was just before the hare season ended on march 10th Quote Link to post
