I havnt saw any leverts as of yet but i have saw quite a few pregnant does not far from me the one was a good size

Did I say that? For the record I lamp quite a bit,but not hares ,personal choice.Plenty of people run hares all year round , day and night. I never have[preban].I was commenting on the photos I had seen, but to stop another useless argument between lampers and daylight boys ,I will delete the word lamping from my post.Happy now?

No, you didnt say it but by your question, you implied it. I think I answered your question in my follow up.Personally I dont do any hunting ,I'm a key board hunter, never had a dog capable of catching a cold.Good and bad in all forms of hunting? Nothing beats keyboard hunting.

PS why did you say cheers? I haven't bought you a drink, though if you are at the Detling Show in April ,I might ATB.

Just as you implied only lampers kill leverets, with your snide comment and whistling icon ! This was an interesting and polite topic until you posted with your, (in your mind), funny comment. I end every post with cheers, as I find it polite. You on the other hand seem to allways make some snide comment about leverets or out of season hunting and then run for the moral highground. No one in this post mentioned killng leverets, only SEEING them !

CP ,I am even older than you ,my running days are long over,high ground low ground whatever. I stand my ground allways have, sometimes to the detriment of my allready plain features .If you think commenting on posts that feature hares being coursed in summer DAY OR NIGHT ,is making a snide comment then so be it.Ive nothing against lamping ,its a great sport,and Ive never condemned anyone who lamps hares.Ive read a few of your posts and you come over as a decent bloke[,I'm thinking about the lamping comp when the lad travelled all that way here],if you want to take umbrage about my post, thats your prerogative. I deleted the word lamping from my original post in a conciliatory gesture as it offended you, and might offend other lampers.If thats not good enough for, you, go procreate with yourself!

PS I saw a leveret in Jan and what looked like two , half to three quarter grown youngsters in early March.Around nine years ago I was coursing with a club in December when the slipper stopped the line and moved back he had spotted a leveret clapped down

Tomo, Inan must have reflected on his comment and found it not as funny as he thought; or else why would a man who always stands his ground, have edited it ? As you say, no harm done, but I thought it was an odd comment to put on a thread that was only asking about SEEING leverets, with no mention whatsoever of killing or coursing them.
