FENS FEVER 147 Posted March 26, 2009 Report Share Posted March 26, 2009 I have often heard it said that February hares are the most challenging for a longdog but I am of the opinion that this is not the case due to pregnant does and knackered bucks......................................what are your views? i would say that all the seasons are mixed up know and things are growing when they shouldnt be like i mean i had daffys growing 2 or 3 months a go in my garden,its the change in the wheather as well,so whats stopping leverets from being born then,i mean were i live i saw hares pairing up in the last week of january ,so from my point of view i would say the best hare would be in december or maybe january,THANKS FEN FEVER Quote Link to post
