Fat-Ferret 857
There was a fella at the Irish Game Fair in Birr last year selling kits for 45 euro each. I had offers of 60 sterlings for ferrets through the season, the price of ferrets has gone through the roof I still give mine to friends for free. True...The price is rising, I think its because there becoming more popular as pets, A pet shop near sells the kits for £45 a piece in the summer
Halfinch 51
I agree it sounds a lot for a ferret, but it depends on how good a worker they are. i hav 6 ferrets and I wouldn't sell my best worker for £150 But having said that, you can have any of the others for £
Halfinch 51
I know the lad who is selling the ferrets he is not asking for 50 pound each he wanted 50 pound the lot that works out at 12 pound 50p each that dont seem a bad price to me lads ready working bargain in fact and like another bloke said hes not trying to make anyone buy them im sicking of hearing blokes crying about this credit crunch do you want specail treatment its the same for all of us 4 x £12.50 = £50.00 . That is a good deal if they are good workers. Edited March 26, 2009 by Halfinch
Kay 3,709
Well thats not a great deal to pay for a ferret , i am sure people have paid more for something like a silver or dark polecat
Guest little lurcher
for someone novice but keen with a good home offered id say the price is excellent !!! i drove over 250 miles for my first 2 they were free but imagine the fuel cost i paid? i went to this man as they were what i wanted, silly tame but from working stock , now i have to say im hooked on the critters !!! i always find it hard to take when people wont pay a reasonable price for solid workers , they are still members of your team and deserve equal respect
