New secondhand 308 on the way

Recommended Posts

Put my money down on this yesterday from John Greene the gunsmith Southern Rifle and Optics, Waterford, Ireland. Just the long wait now for the license to come through.

Work that was already carried out on the gun by John Greene is -- Threaded 5/8" unf with thread protector, target muzzel crown, pillar beding, lapped bolt, new trigger.

Well at present it looks like this:

Sako 75 in .308 with the fluted barrel and the synthetic stock:

BUT I hope it will look nearly like this with a custom stock - with 3 ventilation slots under the forend and with finger grips and a palm swell also with an adjustable cheek piece riser.

Sako 75 in .308 with the fluted barrel and the laminated stock:

The gun shown with the synthetic stock is the SS Varmint, Laminate 75 with a fluted barrel put into the synthetic stock. I'm hoping to get the original laminated stock back but custonised. Pimp my gun.
