Have any of you fished the Fighting Cocks Reservoir in Middleton St. George, Darlington??

 

whats your biggest carp out of there and what bait do you think is best to use?

never fished there but tutti frutti boilies and halibut pellets in pva bags, that will catch a carp anywere

i usualy use sweetcorn and worm in this pond and floating biscuit when its warm but just wondered if anyone used out different and had much luck with it?

now then mate i love going fishing up there but i dont go for carp sorry, my mates do though and they use dog biscuit and they also use toffe boilies. if you are going again soon mate i might see you there.

nah mate i fish for perch lol there is a few big one's in there, my mate had a 3lb one out not so long ago i also heard there is cray fish in the first pond

there was a bloke ther he had a 3lb perch he was on next peg to me fishing on worm

same pond ...third one there was plenty of lads walking about with lurchers like few people training spaniels aswell i was talking to a lad he was tellimg there was mink round there???

yes ther is mink ther also i got told an otter i go hunting in that area brett is a good mate of mine id say tuttie fruti boils thats what i used up there a while back had carp out of ther but im into coarse fishing more

about 2 years ago i was asked to catch the mink on there , it wasn,t mink that were killing and eating 20lb + carp , twas an otter , prints and shit everywhere , obviously i couldn,t do anything about it , a few weeks after i had bin two council officials spent a coule of hours on the internet and half a day round the ponds and told everyone it was mink , seems i had just wasted 20 odd years as a pester ,
