willow1 0
Oh no, that is so sad. There was a black lab x springer 10 months old missing from brean sands. We went to Berrow sands last week and there were posters on the beach. It went missing on tuesday and the owners were there on friday looking for it. It could well be this one. I'm not from there so if anyone lives near berrow sands then please look for the poster on the farthest part that you can drive on. There is loads of rabbits down at Berrow plus seagulls so the temptation fo a dog to give chase is quite high. I paniced a few years back when my Collie just legged it along the beach to BOS I had the boy with me who was very young at the time and i even phoned the MRS to say i had lost the dog. Drove up to BOS and then back to Berrow almost gave up until the dog came running back to me soaking wet.... Hopefully it will be found eventually..

Berrow is a great place for the dogs and we had a bunny on friday......not one of the lurchers but one of the shepherds believe it or not! My lurcher then decided to take it straight down the beach to the shipwreck and back.....bizarre. Sorry, got off topic there.

My parents live there, opposite the Apex leisure centre in BOS , couple of fishing lakes plenty of ducks. FIL took his springers down the other week and one went straight into the brambles in the dunes chasing a rabbit and cut its nose.... But geat place when the tide is in the dogs love it. Can only hope the distraught owners find there dog.
Doglost Co-Ordinator 4
We see many greys with ears taken off, had one recently found on a tip- pregnant with pups, dead & ears missing. To loose a dog to drowning is devastating to owners but at least they get a chance to reclaim the dog & deal with it. Railway lines are just as bad- its the sick mindless b*stards that deliberatly kill the dogs that get to me. Have cross posted current info on this one to DL Forum & will try to match to missing dogs. Thanks for posting- at the end of the day- every dog belongs to some one whether they are looking for it or want it back
