Guest air gunner
Ha well there we go i have done us both a favour. and hopefully both an answer. Quote Link to post
half n' half 8
i don't see a problem as long as it is in good order.one thing to watch for is the buddy bottle, which on the mk1 was made of steel.this will now be quite old and may of deteriated but you can replace it with a later alloy bottle.its easy to tell them apart as the steel one has a rounded bottom and the alloy a flat one. the stock on the mk1 was a bit of a plank to look at but thats just asthetics. price depends on condition but i would of thought around £250-£300. Guest air gunner
from photos how can you tell what condition the buddy bottle is in? Quote Link to post
half n' half 8
to be honest you can't as it may be deteriating from the inside.they stopped making the steal bottles years ago so it will be a good age.you could pick a newer replacement bottle up second hand for £30-£40 or so but you'll need to cost that in with your initial buy. Guest air gunner
This is my problem i may pay 300 for the rifle with no scope but then i will need possibly a new buddy bottle. and a means of filling it. and i really dont want to be pushing more than £300 anyway!! anyone know if i can get a bottle or pump to fill a bsa super 10 mk1 for a very cheap price? SEAN3513 7
stirrup pumps usually go for about £50, depending on the make. if your unsure about an s10, face to face deal only or buy from a shop. could save you a lot of hassle and money in the long run. half'n'half is spot on with price aswell. cheers sean Quote Link to post

I may be thinking a bit too far out of the box here, but if you're really struggling to pay that amount, why not get a cheaper rifle? How about looking at an Air Arms S200? For the money you want to pay, you'll probably get more rifle. That said, I had a Mk1 Super 10 some years ago, and selling it was the stupidest thing I've ever done. Still, the R10 is on order now! Guest air gunner
Its more of a swap. The fellow wants a springer and i have a bsa supersport it would be a swap for his gun for mine and £170 from me. (No scopes on either) then because he has a filling bottle and a bsa adapter he wants £ for that. i dont mind the swap and cash bit but dont want to spend £ on filling stuff. The buddy bottle is not the steel one. How much can i get a pump and bsa adapter for? Quote Link to post
Guest air gunner
also what is the shot count on the bsa super 10? per fill? Quote Link to post
