mad al 146
Black bags are the outer and second layer. I use a fertilizer/wood shavings bags as the initial "bin" and never have them heavy. Could run into a bit of a problem for some later this year though as there's talk of the Council limiting the number of bags they'll pick up.

lurcher123 3
ive always had yard with out side bogs or good drainsbut the house im in now has neither, so the dogs crap has been bagged twice a day, tied and wheelie bined then he yard is swilled to the soak away at the back. last week the wheelie bin collectors left my bin just wondering if its because of the poo! maybee not cos the cant see it , we all have running dogs and just got me thinking how everyone else deals with it ive only 2 pups on at mo,and know there is loads of us with more dogs on. so how do you deal with your sh*t?????? and im gona expect some daft answers lofti.. if you have only two dogs buy a caravan toilet/porta potti, and the blue chemical that goes into them to break down the waist, then just empty when full, you will get one cheap enough, "crap" topic by the way lol Edited March 24, 2009 by lurcher123

We have wheelie bins they won't take any bags so I chored a spare bin from an empty house around the corner and use one for house waste and one for dog and ferret shit never had a problem. lurchergrrl 1,441
When I had the twins, both they and my son were all in nappies ... I applied to the council for a super-size bin (there were five of us in the house then as my ex was still here) and they sent one out. Now nobody is in nappies and the ex is gone, so there's heaps of room in my bin. I just put the crap in a tesco's bag, tie it up and chuck it in. The wheelie bin cleaners swill it for me every couple of weeks and so far I've not had any problems. It doesn't get that ripe now the dog eats raw food either - when I had two dogs eating dry food the stink was unimaginable and the size of their shit was shocking. labsnlurchers 39
my bin man told me i wasnt allowed to put dog poo in the bin, i think maybe the council would rather us dump it on the grass verge Im not entirely sure what i was supposed to do with it..... I put it in the trailer and empty it in our dingle in the bottom fields now, not much else i can do with it. maybe ask your council what they expect you to do with it or find one of those dog poo bins and put your bags there.
