My view for what it's worth ........

I hope that if it were me, then I'd have raised it with the owner, if I hadn't done that for whatever reason then I'd have gone down the local government route, Dog warden/Enviromental Health etc, I wouldn't have rung the RSPCA, not for any other reason than to have asked them for help would have been to recognise them as a legitimate organisation, I don't, they are a Charity gone mad, I wouldn't have given them the opportunity to polish their daft badges.

Al, the only person you got to explain yourself to is you mate.

Grass? Hardly!

FFS though don't be telling the lads on here that I like to wear ladies knickers ..........

an now he is bragging he has just condemed them dogs

'Them dogs' sound as if they're condemned already.

Some cyber Hard Men want to get real. Not everyone can risk the consequences of confronting shit that lives next door.

Still, it'll give you summat to talk about in the playground at school.....

Exactly.

Better for those dogs to be PTS, than live their lives purely as cash cows, breeding machines with no exercise or stimulation. Being treated no better than a battery hen

What's a man to do? Nick the dogs off the neighbour then re-home them himself?

On the subject of reporting people. . . . . . . . .

About 3 weeks ago i went to a stud near to me to view a colt, i was taken to a barn to see what was for sale. When the owner opened the barn door i was nearly sick with the stench that hit me, and the sights before me. The dark barn was home to about 30 yearlings, all up to their hocks in shit, streaming eyes noses and full of worms. . . . the breeder then said to me "you know what they get like in the winter, but i'm sure you'll be able to see past that and realise the quailty of these animals"!!!

I made my excuses and left, straight home to report him to the RSPCA and police . . . . . . . now if that makes me a "grass", then i'll wear that label with pride if it means those poor animals are given a better quality of life.

I've since heard on the grape vine that the barn is now empty, and his paddocks are depleated somewhat . . . . . in my eyes a good result. :good:

AL you did what you had to do. we recently discovered someone keeping ferrets in the old stables on the army camp who's cages were a couple of inches deep in ferret shit and maggots, as i work closely with a ferret rescue center an attempt was made to locate the owner through a note left on the cage to give him the help and education on how to care for them properly.telling him we would help with getting decent cages clipping there claws and even offering a supply of fresh rabbit. all he did was move them so now there suffering continues. in hindsight i should of just taken them. but then that would of made us thieves which we are not.

as said before a lot of people talk like they hate puppy peddlers but when one of us actually dose something about one you all call him a grass.

this sounds like it been going on for years starting with the cats, what would you all of said if AL had posted saying there are dead dogs next door it been happening for years but i did nothing. i expect you would all then tell him he should of done something sooner.

given the choice of living with the label grass or living knowing i had allowed the dogs to suffer i know which i would chose !
