I have had letters of complaint and I have done what I could to resolve the problem. My puppy cried for nights on end and I had people come and complain, I did what i could to resolve it. Everyone has to live together and get on as best they can. Having a neighbour make constant noise can really affect peoples lives. A word with the authorities would mean a warning letter, and more complaints would be needed to proceed to prosecution or visits. Whether knocking on the door or informing authorities(council) will have the same result and give the guy a warning to sort his act out. Whether he does that or not is his decision. All you guys saying he is a grass obviously have never had to deal with a problem as such. This is nothing to do with hunting or dogs this is about every day life. Like i have said, its what your conscience lets you do. Mine wouldn't let me do nothing while something that i know is WRONG is happening when i am the only person who could stop it. As someone has said before, would the situation be any different if it was someone abusing children or equaly as wrong. And you might say, "well i wouldnt grass, i would take a bat to the dirty b*****d", well thats what you would do, and if it ended up with the cruel f****r dieing painfully and the victim saved i would do the same, believe me i f*****g well would. But lets be honest, you cant guarantee that and think of the risk you are putting yourself in by commiting f**k knows how many offences. To me informing the relavant authorities is the right move. Also would you call the police if you saw 10 big lads smashing in your neighbours door with bats with the obvious intention of robbing the place (the situation could easily be changed to them beeing dog theives) and dealing with anyone in the way? And just remember for those that say no, just because you may have 10, 11,,,,,20 big mates on the other end of the phone to deal 'justice' doesn't mean everyone does!
