At last

We were back out yesterday with both lurchers, both of them having had injuries for what has seemed like months. Because our permission is on keepered land, coupled with the fact that the bad weather and injuries have curtailed our ferreting trips this year, we have to keep going a little longer, to keep our permission going. We had a really good day out, it was fine weather, though cold. Both dogs worked really well, with the ferrets doing a good job bolting most of the rabbits, something that isn't guaranteed this time of year. Fortunately only one of the rabbits caught had young ones, the cold weather up there must be slowing things down a bit.

Heres a few photos of the day, you might notice in them how Indie improved as the day went on, at the beginning, Nuala had the edge on him, but as time wore on his fitness increased and he was back to his old form. It was good to be back out with both of them once again.

most difficult course of the day, this one goes "over the edge of the world" down and back up a very steep bank, retrieved a long way back to hand
