ferret15 0
yep good pic , made me smile too.... but who ever owns that dog / child needs to wisen up..... what would be said if the dog , after a hour being used for a drawing pad had snapped and attacked the kid??????? i remember battering a lad who had do that to his dog that lived down the road.. i dont have kids but if mine tryed that id tan its arse, a little bit more respect for the dog i do have kids and my dogs love them too but if they have had enough attention from the kids they move away. because the dogs are bottom of the pack bellow the kids, and my kids know that they don't pester the dogs. I'm sure the dog would try to remove its self long before it snapped. as I'm sure you know its important for the dog to bond with the whole family and i doubt the dog see it as any thing other than petting. the only person who can judge the dog correctly is the owner and parent. not trying to start a fight just putting my perspective across as a parent and dog owner. [/quote out of respect for the dogs. i wouldnt want to be poked and proded all day and if i allowed my children to do so then i wouldnt be teaching them respect for animals. if the dog truly is at the bottom of the pack it wont challange any one. out of respect for the dogs my kids have been taught if there in there beds they are to be left alone. my dogs know that this is there safe zone and go there if they dont want to play. i agree that dogs can be dangerous around children but i think that has a lot more to do with the indervidule owner than the dog. All bull terriers [staff, pit, english,] are great with kids, we had them when i was kid. Nice pic, as as above it would only take [second].
mad al 146
We need more pictures like this! Butch Totally agree , a fantastic share, not only for us lot but for all the lurkers to see the other side of our world. Here's our Stella when she was in her prime on a proper photo shoot with Alf here and there was another toddler in the session and they were dressed like fairies. The pix had a lot of interest from all types of folk and quite a few rescues have used them to promote Rotties in a different light
