dont move to much. and remeber to charge up your torch before you go! its happened to me before in that i've flicked on the torch and all that comes out is adim glow.

you have to move while lamping to get around the field :hmm:

Good luck mate! ;)

A good tip, is to keep the beam of the lamp towards the front of the rabbit. The rabbits don't like running into the spot of the beam, and sometimes you can even stop a running coney by using this method. It's often overlooked when lamping, but having a good man on the lamp will increase your bag size.

good luck braders.

top tip from maltenby, very good lamping tip.

most of all keep calm and enjoy yourself.

all the best

i dont know how many do this but if i have a bunny in my sites and it bolts follow it with the lamp and it stops running 9 out of 10

but most important rule is enjoy yourselfs and stay safe

The main rule I'd always say to someone new to lamping is never shoot between a set of eyes until you can clearly see what they belong to. A Fox and a Dog look very similar, and I have heard a story about some animal lover with night vision goggles getting shot in the head before!

Remember your backstops and have fun.
