washing machines

nothing to do with trade but we have a Ariston have had it 5 years with the large 6kg drum it has taken every thing from horses rugs to muddy army kit and ferreting clothes it takes a double quilt no problem.

we also have for about a fiver a month an insurance with domestic and general that if it cannot be repaired they will replace it with a new one.

Nothing beats the american style washers top loaders Maytag are one but there is a copy that is available cheaper.. Phillips sold in Makro both are more commercial than domestic no fancy electronic timers ,industrial motor and bearings and good load capacity..

Just my opinion but i'd say go with a Hotpoint my mum always had them and since moving out about 16 years ago i've had a hotpoint! so thats just my opinion.

can anyone form within the white goods trade offer me some advice on a good relable make of washing machine, i seem to get through them rather rapidly.
i worked for a white goods company for years bosch stuffs the best all so look at refurbs might sound daft but they have been checked twice since they came off the production line and a lot cheaper if you dont mind a scratch or two

i have a few apartments / houses / flats i have them all rented out. i have found "whirlpool" the best !! 8 years parts/ labour. in one of the flats i have a "candy" washing machine its still going after 20 years !!!! and never gave a problem. the worse make of any thing in a house must be " beko" !!!!!!!!

ha ha i agree i was sick of washers going every year so i bought the cheapest one "a beko" for £160 and bought a 5yr guarentee for £100 for a good job 2 yrs on theyve been out to it 5 times!!!!
