I have not yet . The thing is some on this forum seem to think the rest of the world lives by the same rules and laws they do . This is a simple mind way of thinking ! dog fox 16
i was told once that a coon had been dug and was to be let run for another day ,it was taken about 30 yards away from the terrier that had just been dug to, which was back on its couples .as soon as the coon was released it run straight back to the terrier and steamed it for round 2 , which tells you how fearless these animals are as for a ban on exporting dogs bog road ,i dont agree there are plenty of dogs coming in the country as going out ,and it works both ways , they gave us the APT we gave them the patts ,i would say thats a fair trade wouldnt you . i havent witnessed it but i would say that would be some very good terriers over the water as they have a good veriatey of game for them to work ,which in my eye,s would only make the dog better as it would have to be more versatile . I hope to go and dig in the states myself one day and if i do i realy dont think i,d want to come back Edited March 29, 2009 by dog fox Quote Link to post

Hunting-top-shots 2
I understand your point but from what I know she was truely hunted on the animal and I don't bait a thing. As for me I don't import any dogs. I was mearly compairing the ability of the coon as a quarry nothing more nothing less. I appriciate your concern but I don't participate in anything illegal period. To be honest the fun is in the hunt bottom line. If you like above ground action get a pitt or something like that. you really do not understand. it is all ilegal and unless the terrier that have worked badger across the pond as you put it are 37 years old then what you posted is still inapropriate. I personally wouod welcome a ban on the export of all working terriers outside of the united kingdom and Ireland, if only to stop the bastardisation of breeds with a truly unique and rich heritage. I am wondering what pond the dog crossed as well as is it against the law everywhere to hunt badger on the planet ? This is all things to think about before jumping on some one for a extra post count or attention ! Yankee Hi Mate, not quite true what you are saying there there are some places that Badger can still be hunted with dogs or using a Gun, one of those places is Germany!! they have a open season from 1 AUG to the 31 of Aug! so I think one or 2 or the guys that I met up with will be on the way down soon.... waidmann 105
i have dug to raccoon in kreis hoexter, beleive me they are tougher than a fox. they wont bolt for a start. they dont have the dog registerd as an enemy i think. as for dogs which will do well, you are better off with one which will bay and stay rather than a jagd terrier which has only one gear( forwards) you will see the marks of raccoon in front of the set.if in doubt dont put the dog down. the dog will get older. if possible open the set(manmade) if not then a few conibear traps will do the trick( magnum, check bundesjagdgesetz) hope its a help.
