Single Handed. . 1
seen alot of dogs kill hares on the lamp but they wouldnt make the grade as day time dogs An VICE VERSA alot of coursing daytime dogs would be useless on the lamp. Quote Link to post
runem 533
I agree with what you say, however i also have good daytime dogs that will never make the grade as a good lamping dog....In fact this must be another topic of discusion i never ever lamp my hare coursing dogs i feel they learn habbits that are bad for daytime hare coursing. runem 533
fully agree with you daytime/lamping dogs have different styles to fill the bag..However what happens if you do both with the same dog do you get a dog that is jack of all trades but master of none.???????????...better run for cover bound to upset someone..... Single Handed. . 1
Well for one the coursing dog would probably get lost in the dark because they are thick as pig shit!!! . . Quote Link to post
runem 533
Have a bitch only ever been coursing she was getting on in years i didnt just want to retire her so i thought i would use her for a bit of lamping.Well what a waste of time that was the bitch would catch up to the rabbits then wait for them to turn before putting a strike in,if the rabbits ran straight home they were very safe indeed., Quote Link to post
