How Easy Is Too Easy?

Recommended Posts

Iv had some of the best hare courses on the lamp theyve still got the get up and go in them :thumbs:

:yes::thumbs:

theres always been a sertain snobbery between day walkers and night time lads.......old mark brick showed a 22" lamping bitch can kick arse on the fens in the day....hares arnt as sharp in the lamp but they can still run..if they couldnt there wouldnt be any because the fox's would have hare for supper most evenings......

I agree with what you say,however i also have good daytime dogs that will never make the grade as a good lamping dog....In fact this must be another topic of discusion i never ever lamp my hare coursing dogs i feel they learn habbits that are bad for daytime hare coursing.

please explain, :clapper: i can understand ruining a lamping dog doing daywork, but but a day dog lamping cant see what bad habbits it would attract

fully agree with you daytime/lamping dogs have different styles to fill the bag..However what happens if you do both with the same dog do you get a dog that is jack of all trades but master of none.???????????...better run for cover bound to upset someone.....

Have a bitch only ever been coursing she was getting on in years i didnt just want to retire her so i thought i would use her for a bit of lamping.Well what a waste of time that was the bitch would catch up to the rabbits then wait for them to turn before putting a strike in,if the rabbits ran straight home they were very safe indeed.,
