bignoel 14
i was geting on fine with my 243 with 80gr and thought i would like to try a 100 gr for grouping throu my remi 7 and she shoots them a lot better tight grouping .is this because she is a 1-10 someone told the heavier the grain the better for the 1-10 twist is this correct . riohog 5,714
try hornady 87gn hollow point very accurate most .243s are 1in10 they will shoot most bullets up to 100 gn but factory ammunition will vary from brand to brand Quote Link to post

SNAP SHOT 194
cheers i will try them but i am realy pleased with the performance of the 100gr feds. your really lucky getting the 100g rounds to shoot mate, but the 1 in 10 is designed to shoot nearly all the range of weights.... as a rule the faster the twist the bigger weight bullet you can stabilize...... i could never get 100g to shoot well.... snap.
