how do I measure the length of my chamber?

Recommended Posts

No mate i can't to be honest,

but if you don't have a problem with stretched cases then your fine.. in my opinion, if you wish to check it then its no harm....

snap.

No probs.

I know what you mean but im one of these guys that has to have all the bits and bobs. the smithy that built the rifle recommended me get one as the chamber is a small bit shy of saami specs...

Had the gun down the range today for the first time..put 30 rounds of factory fodder through it..you know the fire one clean one process...It shot like a pig to start but started to get tighter..

Not used to the kick off a light gun.in 7mm08.had a 6.5x55 cz 550 with a mod before this and in comparison the cz was a baby..this thing has a good bit of punch in it..shoulder is throbbing..

Cant wait to reload for it..120gn nosler bt`s look the go.

you will not really need to test for headspace if you necksize only after you fireform the brass as the case will then fit the chamber,

however if you full length re size then you will just have to watch for stretch...

never had to do it yet, and my rifle is also away getting a semi custom job so we'll see what happens....
