beno 0
Deben Tracer Max Gunlight Pro or the Lightforce Lance Scope Mounted Variable power . There both got brightness controls but you get a battery and charge and pouch with the tracer and its only 100pound comepared to the lightforce which is 107pound and it just the lamp with the light force. So which is better suited for heavy use most nights for rabbits? Or do you guys have any other recommendations. Thanks Quote Link to post

mr fudd 0
what battery types do you guys find gives the longest usage per charge, i.e. dry cell, sealed or wet cell etc keith I plumped for the new deben 10ah lithium ion battery pack and in my opinion it is well worth the extra money, i do a lot of night vision shooting and so far have yet to run it down, longest session to date was 7 hours straight and it was still going strong went out again for a few hours a few days later without charging and still failed to run it down, absolutely awesome! very light and compact and i wear mine in a camo bum bag To give you an idea of it's lasting power the night vision spotting scope i use it with is a yukon ranger and normally 6 AA batteries would last between an hour to two tops is i was able to stretch it out Quote Link to post
