an ill get it posted tomorrow, my advice would be tae read a few different ones an take the best from them all

but the best learning curve is tae get oot,

tho i suppose youll have a bit a time tae wait tae next season

so get reading :D

what a decent chap! lending the lad a book by mail!

And good advice, find someone local who you can tag along with next season,

my bible when i was growing up and learning about ferreting was graham wellsteads "the ferret and ferreting guide" i have read several since and Donnie's advice about taking the best bits is sound advice, not everything that is written will be useful/applicable for you,

I'd defo go with Whitehead's book: as for the other book? Well, I'm not one to slag people off but you shouldn't always believe everything you read! Stick with Whitehead 's book and you won't go far wrong.

Just wanted to say thanks to donnie1, Received the book today and all for free ;) (didn't even want me to refund postage) I tell you if we all took a leaf out of his book (pardon the pun) this site would be a better place. Top man fair play. He said it's not the best book in the world but it has the basics and for a begginer like me it's a good start. Hopefully tonight i'll have a bit of peace and quiet to start reading, Fingers crossed aye. Cheers Kristian.
