killer6 38
I was always told they were Irish Staffies., Bear in mind when I put the test your knowledge quiz up not many found the breed the first time, cant expect a novice to find it at all. There's some changes coming in from what i've been hearing anyway- more on deed not breed - then we'll all get some peace- hopefully Dnt tel them owt. Attack Fell Terrier 864
Well if you're new to this game then the best thing I can tell you is to always do the best for your dogs, always respect your quarry and always work your dog(s) with in the letter of the Draconian hunting laws we have over here, no matter how much you do or don't like them. ferret_boy 0
hi ive seen people post one here about bull crosses and ws just wondering what type of bull dogs were used Ta Alan Up until 1992 the Bull crosses were mostly American Pit Bull but after the dangerous dogs act came in that was not longer allowed and being 16 years on all these dogs would be dead, after that people started using staffordshire bull terriers but used the leggy athletic types to produce the type of lurchers you see today, there are also some english bull terrier crosses but these are rare the latest type of bull cross lurcher is the ones bred from alaunts and these are very big if you have a search. The bull cross is no better of worse than any other type and excels in some areas of work and not so much in others depending on the amount of whippet or greyhound in the mix. I hope this amswers your question please pm me if you have any further ones. the pits were what i was kinda thinking but as there banned i didnt think they would be used anymore id never of thought staffys or english wull cause there size even the leggy types thanks very much that was exactley what i was looking for ive seen an alaunt and there nice dogs Ta Alan Quote Link to post
Richie10 345
There seems to be a big interest in them but what makes them so good? I don't think they would have too much in the brain dept and bit bulky for long courses. Maybe someone could enlighten me. Thanks Quote Link to post
