looking for new optics

Hello, I've been looking for new optics, just trying to figure out what everyone else uses. I know that the Hammers Waterproof 10x42 are probably the best http://www.swisslink.com/products/product....=428&sid=15

I'm looking for something in about half the price. These will be used only for hunting.

Any others or suggestions?

You could have just dropped in that brilliant Hawke Varmint II 4-16x44 ...WITH Sunshade...that I just happen to have available at the moment....

Well that link show binos at $55 so if your looking for something cheaper Id recoomend you get 2 empty loo rolls and stick jam jars in the end coz you aint going to get much bino for $55

Amen on that one, good idea on the loo rolls, but I've found that milk bottle bottoms have better light gathering.

With optics you definately get what you pay for, and $55 won't get you much other than poor quality lenses with no twilight performance.

Save up your sheckles and go for a pair of Leupold or burris binos. You won't regret spending the extra few bucks.
