Don't even bother with the lagers, it's a little boys drink.

Get on some proper westcountry cider and not any of that strongbow/blackthorn/bulmers/magners shyte.

Or try some real ales - so many to choose from.

Totally agree.

Roger Wilkins' finest.....that'll put hairs on your chest. :laugh:

I tend to drink owt from Marstons. Or Highgate Mild.

Lager's for kids. If you gotta drink it, drink the German stuff. English lager tastes like piss....

Stella Act A Twat :drink::drink:
Stella altwatyah, brewed in Belgium

BECKS brewed in Bremen Germany both only ever brewed in

their respective home lands, so the water hops barley etc

is from that place, giving the the same taste every time;

my point being , RED STRIPE used to be a top drink

brewed in JAMAICA , then all of a sudden brewed under license

in hemelheadsted nothing against the afore mentioned but

can the beer be the same as the Jamaican brew when the

water and the other ingredients are from here ,

so the likes of Heineken,carlsberg and all the other piss poor beers

are Shiite, take the most famous black beer ever, used to be brewed on the liffy

using Irish water now you can buy it in every country in the world and its brewed

in most of them , it just can not taste the same, all ways remember reading , a story

in the TIMES THE LAST GENIUS BOAT, telling the story of the famous little ships that

brought the black stuff from DUBLIN TO LIVERPOOL , for over 60 years, their crew and skipper

would bring the little ships in all weathers , fog , rain hail , and snow , they made the paper once or twice

running aground and hitting the dock gate at Liverpool, when questioned the captain said " THE TIDES OF THE RIVER MERSEY ARE TREACHEROUS THE CURRENT IS ONE OF THE FASTEST IN THE WORLD" don't suppose the cargo of over 250,000 pints of the FAMOUS BLACK STUFF IN THE TANKS HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH IT said the journalist :drink::drink::angel:

I have a few of these in the fridge for later

http://www.hall-woodhouse.co.uk/beers/badg...urstyferret.asp

Also like newcastle brown ale, and john smiths smooth! as well as the other hall and woodhouse beers, Tanglefoot is particularly nice (also some in the fridge at the minute!)

If he is coming to England sure he would want english beers and ales .....everyone is recommending foreign lagers????

I drink copious amounts of french red wine........but i am just advising on the english beers as he asked!

:drink:

At last areal drinker. :notworthy:

First investment you sould make when you hit English turf would be the purchase of 'The good beer guide'. And a pen to cross 'em off as you drink em.

Dont bother with all that foriegn,Chemical ridden, girlie water stuff called larg.....la...large...lar...Sorry can't bring myself to say THAT word. :sick:

And if you want any help you can PM a few of us proper drinkers..No probs. :thumbs:
