I heard my first chiff-chaff today, and found my first mallard sitting her clutch yesterday

 

Spring has sprung early it seems!

yep i think your right bud. see the first swallows to day here in France. nice to see them back.

It certainly has OTC.And lovely it is too.Found a pair of chaffys building just this morning.Yellow wagtails are active on one particular bank,Im gonna go and have a nose around this evening.Bloody love this time of year.nest and eggs are the jewles of nature if you ask me. :)

I am looking forward to doing a bit of 'nesting' again this year - see what I can find. I will try to remember the camera more often too!!

Yep....rooks are well into it now, flowers popping up all over and butterflies once again emerging from hibernation...and don't even start me off about the amphibians!!!...

 

Bit early though if you ask me, i hope the weather doesnt turn bad and set everything back again like it sometimes does....lol..
