Teesdale-rabbiter 15 Posted March 18, 2009 Report Share Posted March 18, 2009 Right folks, I'm going fishing to grassholme reservoir tomorrow need some advice, I cant be botherd with my fly rod, and i did not get much with my spinners today (i might have been using the wrong kind) so what should I use? any advice welcome cos i need some trout for a bbq saturday night!! cheers peeps T-R Quote Link to post

marco 24 Posted March 18, 2009 Report Share Posted March 18, 2009 GET SOME PELLETS FROM THE GRASSHOLME SHOP,THIS IS WHAT THEY ARE FED ON IN THE FISH FARMS,PUT IT IN A WEIGHTED SWIM FEEDRER USE GREEN AND ORANGE POWER BAIT AND GO ON THE BOTTOM,IV'E HAD SOME GOOD RESULTS WITH THIS COMBO Quote Link to post

marco 24 Posted March 18, 2009 Report Share Posted March 18, 2009 I PREFER THE DAM WALL WITH THE FLY BUT LIKE IT ABOUT 150 YARDS FROM THE DISABLED BAY AROUND THE CORNER WITH THE FLOAT AND LEDGER,USED TO LIKE IT AT THE OTHER END NEAR THE BRIDGE ASWELL BUT SO DOES EVERYONE ELSE NOT MUCH ROOM Quote Link to post
