That way any communication they may have had with their previous name which might have been bad is removed.It took Casper about 4 days to respond to his name as he was Pip in the dogs home. I contemplated calling him chip or something else which sounded the same but if they do have any negative associations with their name then it will be a good thing. What name ideas do you like?
