new zealand

i am in the process of applying to emmigrate to new zealand and was wondering how many people who already live there work lurchers / sighthounds?? il be bringing my lurcher and want to keep working him. he loves hunting. what are the numbers like there and also the availability of permission and how easy is it to poach :thumbs:

I went 2 year ago, but only the north island , from what i saw travling round there werent great numbers of rabbits, but its hard to guess when your mainly on the road.

 

i have herd that the south island has big populations of rabbit.

 

theres lots of land and forest owned by the government, and from what i was told you DONT need permision here. but obviously do on farm land.

 

if ya like fishing , you only need a licence and can fish any where , non of this day ticket carry on. also herd gun licence is easy to get hold of. and theres no closed season on the 8 species of deer thay have there as there regarded as a pest.

 

in fact all the mamals in NZ are alian , all the best TOMO

Put simply the younger the better. Not over 55. And trade wise if u google short term and long term skill shortage they are the 2lists of trades they want. Luckily motorbike mechanic is on the immediate short term one :-)
