heres a good collie cross.11 years old now but still workind well.this dog have worked the hills of mid wales for fox from day one and became one of the best hunting,catching and killing of fox that we seen,before the ban.worked good with ferrets and done well on the lamp.my mate has got pups there out of him to a collie xgreyhound bitch now for sale .this dog was featured in mark snowdons articule in earth dog running dog mag,no 155.

anyone interested in a pup let me know and i'll pass you on to him.pups are £150 each but only three left.

i must admit ive enjoyed this thread,some great dogs ,but does anyone else think that 1/4 collie is less highly strung and a calmer dog,also yaps less on the chase?

Yaps less on the chase lol.... you need to start training them a bit better me thinks.........

Collie crosses don't tend to yap. Starting them to young makes them open up on the chase.
