gnipper 6,545 Posted March 15, 2009 Report Share Posted March 15, 2009 My old dog just did this, didn't see him do it so don't know how he acted and he seems ok in himself, it was only a few hours ago I was saying how he's only been the vets once in 11 years for something other than an innoculation, wish I hadn't now Any ideas what it could be? Hannah4181 260 Posted March 19, 2009 Report Share Posted March 19, 2009 Dogs who eat a lot of bones will often pass a bit of blood with faeces, as their digestive track is designed to take small tears when consuming bone. However that to me looks too much blood to be just a case of passing a jagged bone. Has he eaten anything funny/rotten?
