Working Russell's breeders in GB

Recommended Posts

a fair comment no offence ment don i also feel that you and the others on that list should of been informed of annas intentions of naming and shaming as in this day and age it can draw the wrong type of visitor

Naming and shaming??

You have serious problems reading mate! It was me not willing to name the breeder of my dog!! - even when asked.

And then Vermindog came and attacked me.

Go and read the thread from the beginning! C-A-R-E-F-U-L-L-Y!!!

Nos, úgy látom ezen a fórumon csupa önelégült, fasszopó köcsög írogat, akiknek valójában fogalmuk nincs semmiről.

I would start with bringing your attention to the absurd thing: if I can't have a good working dog than there is not much chance to have an own line. And "breeding" rubbish isn't fun at all. Neither i

Ok that one, his name is EE louie bred by Don Campbell runs back thru old Davy Jones lines, maybe Don will tell us a bit more about him, he is in my yard since December and is worth his weight in gold

Dave seem's to have done more than most to get working dogs into Europe. No standard no dog? but in a working dog surely it's the standard of work we should look to? the kennel club never set out to

Probably on next May/June, I will come in GB,first on South after on Midlands.... in my journey i'm interested to visit all the best JR breeders.

Who knows to say to me the name of the best known breeders and eventually the links of their kennels?

Thanks a lot and sorry for my bad pronunciation...

Hi Nino,

My questions would be:

what do you consider the best? The one that breeds the most working dogs? The on that breeds few, but quality dogs? Big breeders? Those that besides working they sldo show their dogs with success?

I would visit:

Eddie and Jane Chapman (Foxwarren),

Mick Kemmish,

Don Campbell (East Essex),

Geoff Burnhill (Paxton),

Bob Clough (Pengelli),

Greg Mousley (Meynell),

Ken Gould and

Colin and Julie Bright (Foxcombevale).

There are sure more that are worth a nice visit, but are no more on my mind at the moment. ;)

I wish you a pleasant jurney and wait for the pics and great stories after you are back!

Ah! And if you can not have the bitch PJRT pup from your friend, just give me a call, I'll go to take her!! :D;)

All the best,

Anna

is this not your thread then anna?? have you not mentioned the names of folk here?only a comment but in the day of all the dog thefts surely it would of been nice to of first asked these folks permision before postin there names and areas.better safe than sorry

It's not a thread, it's a post! For your information.

Nino asked for good JRT breeders and I have wrote him some names - of which I think are worth visiting. This was my answer.

But how does it come to naming and shaming?

LMAO at this topic.

By the way you can come and see my dogs but i don't sell to show folks any longer due to their many 'guarentees needed' LOL. And i only sell to people via recommendation from others that you do indeed work your dogs. Have one going to Denmark soon, he is going to be a right little firecracker when older, but not a 'show pony' IMO.

Seems most the names listed in one list are all JRTCGB people, must say when i went to one of their shows last year to view non of the dogs looked like they had ever worked or even had the brain to.

There is a fair amount of people here on the forum not being able to read and understand of what they read. ;)

CumbrianJack, come and visit us, see how we work our dogs on fox, wild boar and badger! (It's legal here.) We would be happy to invite you (or anyone else) being interested to come over here and work their and/or our dogs.

If not, than take the time and read of what I have written of my dogs, or simply visit: www.parson-russell.hu

ATB,
