bull xs ???

Recommended Posts

most people when they set out to breed a bull x [ half x ] use a bull sire and a greyhound dam to keep the speed there as if its bred the other way around you can end up with skinny bulls, this tends to be the trend , ........ keeping as much speed as possible, whilst adding power, jaw, prey drive etc, .... so if the bitch has so much to do with the outcome of the pups , why do we see so many 3/4 1/4,s bred a half x sire back to a pure greyhound . surely this is watering the mix down too much, wouldnt it be better to put a pure greyhound over a half x bitch, ..... i know on paper there both 3/4 1/4 , but if the first x is allways done so to keep the bitches speed, . if the half x was the bitch , not the sire, in throry you would end up with bully 3/4 1/4 s , this would also have a knock on effect to the 3/8 5/8 would it not ????
