Hever mind lad, i'll get some permission you can share when ive sussed it,(and youve sorted thowd knee out)you need a short walk to a shoot and a hide to shoot rabbits from, ive shot groups of rabbits while they've been next to each other if they can't see anything they just carry on eating if yr gun's quite enough. Just a quick story, I shot a rabbit right at the beginning of my shoot gutted it and thought i'll get it on the way back cut its back leg threaded the other leg through the gap between the tendon and bone hung it up on an extending branch so no animal could get it.I though. Came back for it at the end of my soot about 45min later.................Fly's had nearly covered all internal surfaces in blows (maggot larvea) , Had to wash them all of in the river,me and the dod still ate it that night,Lesson learn't. "bag a rabbit" Ian :icon_eek:

what bout when you shoot something bigger than a rabit .in scotland the use axes for deer on the highlands .but yes if u only shoot small game a small knife will do thats why i have my buck knife i got three ferrets so the mini machesti gud at cuting rabits into three quickley . and half these guys with smal knifes out of the argos camping section use westlake springers and shoot in their backgarden
